Background:

John has been performing on the stage, radio and TV since 1957, when he began to appear on several kids shows on CHCT-TV in Calgary, Alberta. In the past his voice has been heard for sponsors such as K-Mart, Sears, Dalco Construction and Sun Classic Films as well as the University of Calgary, narrating library introduction films. He has worked as a news writer, reporter, producer and evening news host and has also performed in several radio dramas as well as on the live stage.

Those with a passion for historical fighter planes may be interested in a documentary John narrated called "Canadair Sabres and Pilots in the NATO Years", available at the Calgary Aerospace Museum by request.
