CONCERT SERVICE

Many people ask about the difference between a “concert tuning” and a “regular” tuning. It’s not so much the tuning itself, which must be of the highest musicality possible on the instrument, but the ability and hopefully the opportunity to prepare the piano for the highest level of performance. John is specially trained at Steinway & Sons in New York and Yamaha Canada in Toronto to service the expectations of concert pianists and he has worked with many top artists under a great variety of concert conditions. Whether your venue is the classical concert stage, intimate home recitals or an outdoor rock concert, he has the experience to handle all your piano-related needs.

CONCERT ARTISTS

John was the tuner-technician for the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium for over 30 years and tuned for the resident companies, the Calgary Opera and the Alberta Ballet as well as many other visiting artists. Some of these artists and shows are listed below.
