A Charlie Musselwhite Discography
In over 32 years of recording Charlie has released 23 albums (that I've been able to find - there
may be more), has played for friends as a guest artist on at least 38 more

Stand Back! Here Comes Charley Musselwhite's
Southside Band
Charley Musselwhite's Southside Band (1967)
Note the spelling of Charlie's first name on his Vanguard debut album.
Chris Strachwitz in the liner notes for the CD re-issue of Memphis Charlie
writes: "Charlie recalls that after the session he waited a few days to
hear from the union to get his money, which he was already planning to
spend on a new amplifier and some records. When they finally called him,
he rushed down only to find that the check for the session came to exactly
38 cents! He was disillusioned, and explanations about how renting an amp
and assorted other expenses had to be deducted did not help much."

Charlie Musselwhite (1969)
The 14 performances on Memphis Charlie include some loose live sides
and even a taste of slide guitar from Musselwhite. They're the work of
a more mature artist than the brash kid on Stand Back!

from John Lee Granderson, a Chicago street singer.
